My name is Alan Lowe, I also serve as the Director of the American Museum of Science and Energy (AMSE), as well as the K-25 History Center, in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.  To broaden our reach and to advance our educational mission, we have started this podcast series called “AMSEcast.”   We are interviewing a wide diversity of scientists, engineers, science writers, science policy experts, historians, etc.  Our focus is on issues of science and engineering, as well as the history and legacy of the Manhattan Project.
